Someone asked me recently what I have on my book shelves? Oddly enough, art books. So today I’ve decided to share with you loyal readers what art books adorn my book shelves.

I love 19th century art especially the French and British Royal Academy art. As you can see I’ve been slowly filling up my shelves with every art books on that time period. (I am in a look out for a great Léon Bonnat, Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux, Solomon J. Solomon and Peter Paul Rubens art books to fill the gaps in my collection. Any help is greatly appreciated.)

I also love the annual SPECTRUM art books complied by the lovely Cathy and not so lovely Arnie Fenner from Under Wood Books. The newest one, Spectrum 17, just came out. (Thanks, Cathy and Arnie.) As always, this year’s Spectrum art book did not disappoint. It’s filled with some of the best art that I’ve seen all year. It’s out in stores now, so if you’re an art lover of any sort, you need to get this book now. You’ll thank me later.
