Here it is!!

The new Sketches and Scribbles Book 5!!!!

It’ll be out this summer at San Diego Comicon. It’ll be 80 pages of black and white finished art and sketches that I’ve done in the past year and a half, with full color cover on thick card stock. Lot of Princess of Mars art, jungle girls and Ultimates prelims.

Instead of the usual 3000 copies, I’ll be printing less this year. So first come, first served.

I’ll be at the BIG WOW ART booth this year at San Diego, next to Adam Hughes’ table. See you ladies there.

When my mind wanders, I often scribble and randomly sketch images that catches my fancy.

Here is a werewolf sketch that I did for fun, instead of working one of my many pressing deadlines.

Wolfman Versus Jungle Babe!

I have random images that pop in my head at times. They often strike me when I least expect them. This is one of them.

I was just sitting here in my studio just cross-hatching the background on a giant double page spread when this image popped in my mind. It wasn’t completely formed, just a werewolf figure leaping out on an unfortunate victim. So I sat there turning the image over and over again in my mind until I felt it was strong enough to put it to paper.

So, I stopped inking and sketched this out in one sitting. Might revisit this later and finish it.
