People ask me how tight I pencil before I ink my art. The answer is: My pencils are loose. Very loose. In many ways, it’s more of a breakdown than pencils.
That’s why I don’t use and can’t use inkers. I do half my drawing during the inking phase.

Here’s an example of my pencil art and the ink art from the upcoming Hulk #9.
Note the changes I made during the inking process.
