Saw the midnight show, it was pretty good, not as good as the original, but nice effects. Nice performances by everyone, setup for film number 3 is a little too end of "Empire" for my tastes.

Not that there's anything wrong with the end of Empire, obviously!

It is a big cliff-hanger though and comes up on you quite fast. The film itself takes a little while to get going compared to the first I thought, but it is great once it sdoes. This means that the third one should be straight into the action!

And the effects are great once again.

My wife and I saw the movie today. We liked the film. It was a packed theater. Lookin' forward to the third film. I thought the performances were good and the costumes/effects were great. I especially liked the Villain's crew. Go see it! It's a fun movie going experience.

my girl and I saw it last night and we loved every second of it. I for it was very pleased by the ending. I think a fair amount of people are going to like this one a bit more than the first

It looks like a lot of people liked it, it is the biggest grossing 3-day openning ever, with an estimated $132 million, bitch-slapping Spider-man 1's 3-day of $115 million.

I'm going to start on that pirate comic book right away. Smile

I've seen it yesterday afternoon and I'm going back tomorrow to see it again.

I loved it, saw it on Sunday only bummer was had to sit in the second row and man thats a killer on the neck! Will see it again, can't wait for # three. A friend of mine plays a pirate in third one, look for the 6ft tall chinese pirate! They started making it a year ago and he said had so much fun. I heard a rumor that Keith Richards was going to play Captain Jack's dad, I saw an interview with Johnny Depp that he modeled his charactor after him. Now that would be wild if it's true he's a trippy guy.
Yoho Yoho it's a pirates life for me!

Saw Pirates with Brandon Peterson, Aaron Williams and his wife, Cristi, at San Diego Comicon Con. All I can say is that it was a blast.

I actually liked it better than the the first one. The special effects were top notch. Great make-up job on Davy Jones and his water-logged crew.

But the high-light of the movie has to be Johnny Depp's performance as Captain Jack Sparrow. I cracked up every time he ran.

I'll definitely will see this again.
