All the character designs and the 6 pages of the script is up. The Artist talent search has begun.

http://www.newsaram......st.html

If you guys have any questions or need any advice, go to the Image Comics message board and post them under "50 Girls 50" title section http://www.imagecom......hp?f=47

Or post them here.

Good luck everyone!!!

Man, that's a lot of work when you've got a full time job, wife, kid, house among other responsibilities... but I'm gonna go for it. Don't have a lot of time tonight but I should be able to read through the script tonight and start making notes...

Thanks for the opportunity Frank!

To rest of you trying out... I hope you fail miserabely. Twisted Evil

Got a couple of questions about the script:

When he writes "Panel 1 & 2" (or "3 & 4", etc.), but there's only one action described, is he indicating that that's the "money shot", or that it should be a panel divided in two, or what?

Is he going to post the "Fantastic Adventures" reference he mentions for page 3 somewhere?

And, most importantly--is the contest only for people who ink themselves, or are you willing to look at just pencils?

Looking forward to some panels with Jessica Jayne!

Go hometown Canuck girl!

Good luck to all the tryouters (tryouties? Triaudis?).

Not that I think I'd beat everyone, but the "start immediately" bit of winning the contest would instantly overbook me and get me fired from other places. Sad  Ah, well. I'd rather read this one than participate anyhoo.

I'd say from how I read it... it's a one shot (same shot) broken up in two panels. Kinda like you see someone drawing a car with say two people on the same side of the car talking to one another... to add to the 'drama' of the page they border the image into two panels.

That's how I see it anyways. I don't know the actual answer and would be interested to hear as well.

The penciling/inking question is a good one too. I'd be wanting to know that as well.

But my biggest question... what the hell is a blister of a cockpit?

I thought it meant a bubble kind of thing (though space shuttles don't have that...) I was curious why all the color descriptions were in there--hope it's just to give the artists a sense of value/contrast.

We're looking for an artist who can pencil and ink his own work.

However if you're a penciller who can't ink then it's up to you to find a inker for your work. We will not help you match up with an inker.

And if an penciller/inker team is picked for this project. It's up to you guys on how to split the money between the two of you.

Pretty much correct -- http://www.flightgl......78.aspx -- unless this is supposed to be one of those things you incorporate into the design.

Going through the script now, I dig it. Now for the drawing...
