Fans of Merlin might want to check out a new show called Atlantis. It's pretty good, and it's made by the same people as Merlin so it has a similar style, a lot of humour and adventure.

Forgot to DVR it since I'm never around to watch live TV. I set it to pick up the repeat on Saturday though. DVR is only recording comic book shows now, Gotham, Agents of Shield, Flash, Arrow, and now Supergirl.

I think they jammed a lot of story, and created the foundations for upcoming plots, in those 40 minutes. The budget must be enormous, the effects are at par with the effects in movie shows. She's likable, and there's good chemistry between characters. Despite not caring about the comic-book Super man or girl I'll keep watching as long as this show stays fresh and  packed with action.

Superman, Supergirl, what's next? Superboy? Can't say as I'm a fan.

Not really a Superman fan... haven't seen any of the movies. I've been enjoying Arrow and the Flash though, so when I saw that there was a Supergirl TV show coming I figured I was going to at least give it a chance.

When I saw the first pics I was not impressed.

The first few clips I saw didn't change my mind either.

However, having now seen the first two episodes I'm a complete convert!

After having seen Melissa Benoist in action, and how she plays the 2 roles given to her, I'm 100% on board! She may not be how I pictured Supergirl in my head, but she's absolutely adorkable in both personas so I can't find any fault in the casting choice now. The show is fun, a little tongue-in-cheek, and (thankfully) not dark.

i just discovered Castle and love it. I am going through the first 7 seasons.  Also starting to get into Jessica Jones.  I don't watch much "dark" stuff (I'll read a newspaper if I want that), but I'm up to episode 3 and starting to get into it.  How does DD rate with Jessica Jones?  More violent - less?

I liked JJ better because it was more ballsy and so so good.  Daredevil is also really good but more of your typical hero show.  It about the same for violence
