The first original comic art I bought was drawn by Budd.
I saw the piece and wanted it immediately.

I'm thinking this is my earliest page.

I remember having the opportunity to buy Page1 from the first series. I talked Budd out of selling it. He later sold it. LOL!

This gets the most views online, but it's watercolors for the cover image over photocopies that are cut and pasted. When you buy the comic, this was the color image that you saw on the cover. No original pencils or inks, but it is the original watercolors.

I'm a little surprised no one seemed to be interested, but I'll post some other pages I own.

Why did you talk Budd out of selling the piece to you?

It had obvious personal meaning to him. He was struggling over whether to sell it or not. I just tried to nudge him to hold onto it and follow the gut instinct and keep it. I didn't want to be the person buying that one piece he'd regret selling.
