Am i seeing right? there's no thread for this one yet?
Anyway i saw it yesterday and i thought it was a really good movie. If you had removed the mutant factor you could've still told the story, but adding claws and mutants just makes it better  Laughing
I felt the same way about The Dark Knight, remove the comic book element from it and it's still an awesome story, however (warning: unpopular opinion is coming) despite the glowing reviews i didnt get a feeling of epicness from watching Logan, unlike TDK where around midway through the movie you knew you were seeing something special, however im not saying i didnt like Logan, i loved it, just saying that comparisons TDK are being made but i just didnt get the same feeling

They managed to hide the X-24 plot point from leaking, and seeing it onscreen was a total "holy shit!" moment, and while it was an awesome moment , i think if they had just inserted Sabretooth it wouldve seemed more appropriate to Logan's story since they're both tied to each other just like Magneto and Charles are to each other, but they never played with that in the movies beyond the Wolverine Origins movie.

Other than that though it's a great movie, a nice sendoff for the character and Hugh Jackman. Definitely will be a tough act to follow.

You know it's weird. I have no desire to see Logan in theaters.

I'm sure it's a good movie but after getting my ass burned by all those shitty Wolverine and X-Men movies, I just gave up on it. It's kinda like the boy who cried Wolf too many times.

I will see Logan but when it comes out in Blu-Ray.

The movie I want to see on big screen is Kong on Skull Island.  Very Very Happy

The movie is just different. The girl does a really good job. It's a neat twist on Xavier. I'll give it credit for setting a different tone for a superhero movie.

Lot of my friends said I should go see it, but it's not grabbing me.

I'll just wait until it comes out on blu-ray.
