First of all, I want to apologize for completely missing this past Sunday’s art blog. I was down in Florida celebrating Thanksgiving with my pal, Brandon Peterson, and his Tampa crew (Jimmy Palmiotti, Amanda Conners, Darwyn Cooke and Marsha.) Too much turkey. Too much goofing around. I just didn’t have time to do an art blog.
Since I completely missed my Sunday art blog, I decided to showcase two sketches that I’ve been scribbling recently. These are some Shanna studies that I’ve been working on for a project I can’t name right now. I like the general idea of Shanna holding her knife in her teeth but I haven’t nailed down the figure. I’ll have to keep scribbling until I hit upon the “right” pose. To be continued.
Yes, today is my birthday (December 2). That being said, I hate my birthdays. I tend to get pretty sour around this time of the year. You see, I have a mental list of all the things that I want to accomplish. With the passing of each birthday, it only marks what little I have accomplished on my list. So please excuse me for being a sourpuss for the next few days.
